Laser Focus- Through Meditation and Concentration

I know that success takes effort and time, and there is no shortcut around that one. However, O also know that sometimes people may be drawn to a story that they need to spend up big to be successful. I'd like to point out that in my view, you may and in fact have to spend time, as an investment towards your betterment. This could be a case of spending time in  completing a task, or a project, or in learning new methods and materials to move ahead. Any thing that requires success and investment of time is going to pay off, given that price being paid first.


There are so many example I can use where I have tried to actually go around a short cut. The result has simply been that I spent even more time, and would have done better if I just actually concentrated on being persistent, consistent and focused. Focus is Key here.

 

Success by Focus and Meditation

 

I really feel that we also need to be able to actually focus and be laser targeted on the results that we want. Have you ever spent time in a day thinking you were jumping from one task to another and never seeming to actually achieve anything? I know I have certainly been there and that is what I want to help you with today. It is vital to be as calm mentally as possible, to in turn be able to laser focus our thoughts on target to get a job or project done.


These principles or secrets of meditation help you to eliminate the noise that is around us daily. I do not mean in a literal sense, but rather in being able to close our mind to distractions, and to in turn allow our full utilization of our faculties.

 

Improve Health and Energy Through Meditation

 

Our outer results are determined in my view on our state of mind internally. Do things happen where we may be confused, stressed or concerned? Certainly they do. However, being able to exclude these distractions and concentrate more fully is key to being able to improve our outer results from our efforts. 


It took me a while to master the techniques of inner calm but the pay off has been fantastic. I regularly practice and feel that when you look at the methods yourself to calm yourself inwardly, you will multiply your outward results.


Think about a time when you were stress free and were able to fully concentrate on a project or task. I;'m sure you will have accomplished a great deal more just because you were not distracted. That is where I am going here. Being laser focused is key and eliminating the external forces of worry and inward leaks to the mind allow us to more accurately do and accomplish what we have set out to do.

How To Forgive Others and Yourself?

I suspect that you may have thought about forgiveness as being about forgiving others, but not always yourself. I'm actually going to turn this on its head by suggesting it is more important to forgive ourselves than it is to ask forgiveness from others. In addition, we can forgive others as well in our own internal way, but first, I feel we need to forgive ourselves. Why do I say this?


Forgiving Ourselves


Forgiving ourselves takes precedence because when we are forgiven, we are in a better position to feel that we can then work on forgiving others. However, if we are not 'right within ourselves;, how can we then concentrate on being affective in forgiving others? I know it sounds a little over the top, but it is true. It is very similar to having to love ourselves before we can love others. I know some of you may think this is a selfish view point, and I respect your opinion. However, if you think about it, when you are not able to love yourself, how can you discipate respect and care for others? 

 

Hence, the idea here is to be able to first forgive yourself.


I met a person at a seminar who was in his 70's and was holding some issues against himself for almost 50 years.  Essentially, he was in a car accident with his then wife, and a drunk driver crashed in to them and his wife was killed. He still to this day, nearly fifty years later, held himself responsible. He was shown how to forgive himself, and you could have heard a pin drop in this room, full of three hundred people.


He learned the art of forgiving, and it was only sad that it took that long for him to achieve. 


Imagine living your life in a view point that you are no good and unworthy for fifty years?

I think you can see where I am coming from with this.

You owe it to yourself, and you will also sleep much better too.

Forgiving and Forgetting- A Perspective

I know this is a very important point to consider, given that I have felt an amazing sense of relaxation and rest a day or so ago. What am I talking about? Forgiving and forgetting. You see, I practice what I write about, and I actually did the forgiveness exercise yesterday, and when I actually went to sleep, I felt a peace like I hadn't for quite some time.


I know I have been concentrating a bit lately on forgiveness, because it is so important for all of us to really get the best out of it. 


The laws of attraction work a lot better when we are free of any guilt and fear, as well as anger, in particular.  I know that I went through a time when I was typically very angry and upset as well as being unable to release the anger faster than it was welling up inside me. I know this may sound heavy, but I choose to tell you this, so as to prove that you can heal yourself and your life by choosing to forgive.


Essentially, I had been in a situation where my employment had changed dramatically, and I was also in a new country. I found the cultural change and the circumstances surrounding that change very difficult to deal with.

I spent each day doing my best ( or what I thought was my best), even though I was being held back due to all my anger. I saw that this was not working after a year and decided to really make an effort to resolve the issue.


I looked deep inside myself, by taking the time to reflect and write down everything that was annoying me and affecting my ability to be open to receiving all the good I actually wanted.

 

I finally wrote everything down, and was quite amazed by the size of the list. However, this list is critical to 'get the emotion and anger out' of your system. By following this method, you will not only feel and probably sleep better than you have in a very long while, but rather will leap ahead in bounds. It is just so freeing.

Forgiveness and Forgiving Others Inwardly

I am hoping to share with you the benefits of forgiving others and of reinforcing the importance of this practice, to help you succeed, and be able to move forward in the direction of life you desire.


Whilst some people are incorrectly of the view that forgiveness is about other people, it is more so for you. It is certainly OK to tell someone that you forgive them if you wish to, but overall, it is about you giving yourself permission to forgive yourself.

 

Essentially, by forgiving others and yourself, you are freeing up all th negative energy in your body to flow again as it is designed to do. You will find you feel better, and more of what you want comes to you, or better. The universe is all about the flow of energy and the act of forgiving others and yourself will massively help that flow.

I always talk about over delivering. Giving my clients the best that I possibly can. It really does make a big difference to the end result- I assure you.

I learned this from the people who have taught me, and my experiences, and it is well explained in the Healing of Forgiveness as well.

In addition, while I am side tracked on the issue of forgiveness, may I suggest that you make a point of practicing forgiveness regularly, as it will allow you to perform at your very best.


The reason for suggesting that we practice forgiveness is to make sure that we are free to concentrate all our energies onto our best work, and giving, if you will. Only when we are free of vices and 'small sweat problems', can we be our best. It is also about controlling our emotions sometimes.


I treat all my clients like gold, because I know that when I give to them, they in turn will give to me by coming back over and over again.

Praise- It Will Provide Much More than You Realize…

Praise is a very powerful process, not just for the person receiving it, but also for the giver. I found that I was able to be more productive when I praise other people, and get this, I don't even have to always praise them directly and vocally.


OK, I understand you are now curious. What am I talking about?


Here is a little story to highlight this point. I heard it and wanted to share it here.


When ever you are out and about, or even at home or work, it is always beneficial to praise those around you, but you can do it silently to yourself. If you really want to, you can certainly praise out loud, but for this exercise, we will be praising inwardly.

 

A person visited a restaurant and after a short while, asked the waiter if he would like to know how he can increase the amount of his tips. Naturally, the waiter was curious and decided to ask for more information. The restaurant guest insisted that the waiter must be prepared to keep detailed records over the coming weeks, and he agreed.

 

The instruction was then for the waiter to inwardly praise every customer he served and to note the amount of his tips. Over the course of the next few weeks, his tips had actually doubled, and this was from him just praising his clients. He said things like they looked good, they seemed happy and so on.


Now, applying this technique in your life, consider praising your clients, your employer, your shop assistant even, all people whom you interact with. You may well be very surprised at the results you get.

Forgiveness- A Shift in Perception

Forgiveness is one of those emotions that can move mountains and clear massive boulders from in front of us. However, we need to establish some ways that work to forgive others without having to actually say anything to them directly. Yes, I did say that.

Let me explain a bit here. When things happen to us, sometimes the person who has wronged us knows it, and in some cases, they may not even be aware they have wronged us. As it turns out, it does not really matter, because what actually happens is that we create a great deal of anger, potentially, in ourselves. At this point, we start to internally self destruct. The anger and frustration is lie a cancerous ball developing in us, and we need to understand this phenomenon, to thus control it. 


How often have you found that you have created a situation in your mind, much bigger than the original issue ever was? Be honest. This is not about me- it's about you solving your grievances and moving on, The only way to really move on is to be determined to be clear and effectively erase all the hurt, the anger and the annoyances in our lives.

 

I even know this is easy to say sometimes, but we need to take responsibility here. I call it living above the line, where instead of blaming anybody for anything, we concentrate on the way we react, or better still, respond. I know I have written on the issue of responding before, because it is so important. You need to make sure you are responding and also thinking.


Try this on for size:-


Take a seat, and actually allow yourself some quiet time, and take a blank piece of paper (or more?) and start writing all your grievances, with past, and present issues and people. Put it all on paper. Be honest here as no one else will see this paper. Just get it all out as it were, and write everything that has ever wronged you or you feel angry about. 


After wards, write something along the lines of "I openly forgive and let all this hurt go. I hold no further resentment to anything or anyone".


The above is a very powerful process. After all that, burn the paper and do something else. By doing this process every few months or even weeks if you feel like it, you will develop a habit of emptying all the negative emotions from your system. It can change your life in amazing ways. Just see for yourself after trying it out. 


I learnt this technique from both Catherine Ponder's books and also from the Laws of the universe.

Ongoing Faith Issues- Knowing We Are Capable and have the Inner Resources

I think this is a very important point to note, in that we really all do have the resources to be very successful, and tackle any challenge that falls our way. Please note I have deliberately mentioned the word 'Challenge", rather than problems. You could suggest this is pure pedantics and symantics, but I am working to point out that the way we think affects our outer ability to deal with the things that life throws our way.


It is often as simple as learning not to react, but rather to respond. I am certain I have written about this important issue before, and feel it is very important to understand the fact that we can train our thinking to deal better with situations that occur. No one has yet been able to think clearly when they are panicking, and thus, I encourage cool, calm, and collected thought- reflection if you prefer.

 

Now, whilst I understand this is easy to say, I try to quiet my mind at night, before I go to sleep and then, I start to think about any issues that I want to have answers to. This has proven to be a fantastic way to get to the bottom of some issues, provided I allowed myself to remain calm. It also takes practice to reach a point where I was getting better at it. You may be very good as soon as you start, or it may take a little longer. See how you go.

 

Effectively, another way to look at it is to Erase All Thoughts of Doubt!

Concurrently with the above statements, you need to eliminate any doubt in your mind about your abilities. I understand you may not know how to achieve every step of a desired project or dream, but believing that you will find the way is critical to your success. Any trace of doubt can cause a massive rift to develop between your desire and reaching the goal. You really do need to know what you want, and have a burning desire of surety. This is intertwined with the faith issues we were talking about earlier.


I wish you to take the day to reflect on all you really want, deeply, and then prepare yourself for an awsome journey- You have what it takes and more.

Turning Problems Over to a Higher Power

I am not a particularly religious man, but I do have faith and am always working on developing it further. After all, accepting that the wonder of the universe is part of a higher power allows us to have perspective, and help us through tough times.

I believe in prayer and am sufficiently satisfied that it really does work, both from my own experiences as well as from the experiences of other people as well. I will summarize some points that I think are  relevant to help you in your day to day issues as well.


I think we all need to work on our faith, as it is the glue that can get us through some very difficult times. Let's face it, whilst life is very glorious, in spite of some difficult times, it is the getting through those times that I feel makes us stronger and educates us to handle new problems.

After all, when we solve problems, we are helping others and this is part of life and economic prosperity too. If you think about it, helping others is all about solving their problems which is why things are bought. There may be a need that is to be solved when a person buys a drill bit. They don't actually want a hole, but rather, maybe a fixing for a picture and so on.

I have actually found that when I have a concern or a problem, by meditating on it for a short while, and then going to sleep, telling myself the answers will come and all will be worked out, I at that point, hand it over to a higher power'. I am not able to explain how this works exactly, other than to say that our mind is made up of an electronic brain, that is emitting radio frequency waves and is forming part of all the other waves in the universe. Others pick up on our problems, and are brought in to help, as it were. 


Think about this. When you have had a problem in the past, you may have seen that an unexpected source provided a solution, such as a chance meeting, and so on. Do you really think that all these meetings are really chance meetings?

Establishing Order in Our Lives

I know this may seem a harsh topic for some of my readers, but order in life is very important. It has even been joked about, but I really do think that you can tell with some people, the state of their lives, based on the state of their cars. I am not talking about the model of car that someone drives, but often, if their car is very untidy and messy, I think that they are probably not very tidy people in their life affairs. I know this may upset some people, but I really do think that it is true.

 

My point is that for people to lead progressive lives where there is order, they will find that they are less stressed, and are spending less time looking for things as well as more time productively moving towards their goals. I am aware that some people may find this harsh, and I apologize to those of you. However, at least try it. Give it a real go. 


Set up all your paperwork in files that are labeled. Be disciplined about putting paper aways and so on. The more tidy and organised you are, the greater the order around you and in your affairs. It may even take a few days to get everything in order initially, but you will see an improvement in your affairs. I assure you.

 

It also helps to have a cl;ear mind, which will help with ideas flowing more freely as well.
